Glucose control solutions allow you to perform quality control checks to ensure that your Accu-Chek Instant, Accu-Chek InstantPlus, or Accu-Chek Instant DM system is working properly. Each glucose control solution contains a known amount of glucose. These solutions are used in exactly the same way as a drop of blood. If the control result is within the acceptable range printed on the vial of Accu-Chek Instant Glucose test strips, you know that your testing system is working properly.

Routine Quality Control Testing should Be Done:

If you leave the cap off the vial of test strips Before using your monitor for the first time When you open a new vial of test strips If you drop the monitor Whenever your glucose test result does not agree with the way you feel Whenever you want to check the way you are performing your blood glucose test If you have repeated a test and the blood glucose result is still lower or higher than expected When you want to check the performance of the monitor and test strip Contains: High Level Control Solution, 4ml; Low Level Control solution, 4ml
