Alternagel contains no sugar and is dietetically sodium free and provides a greater concentration of antacid per teaspoon.
Indications:
Effective relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach and symptoms of upset stomach associated with these conditions, or overindulgence in food or drink.
Directions:
Shake well. Take 1-2 teaspoonfuls between meals, at bedtime or as directed by a physician.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: Each teaspoonful (5ml) contains: Aluminum Hydroxide (600 mg)
Inactive Ingredients: Butylparaben, Carboxymethylcellulose, Potassium Citrate, Propylparaben, Purified Water, Simethicone, Sorbitol
Drug Interaction Precautions:
Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you are presently taking a prescription drug, do not take this product without checking with your physician or other health professional.
Warnings:
Do not take more than 18 teaspoonfuls in a 24-hour period, or use the maximum dosage for more than two weeks. If you have kidney disease, do not use except under the advice and supervision of a physician. May cause constipation. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
