Unique Antacid Barrier
Relieves Heartburn Caused by Acid Reflux.
Indications:
For the relief of heartburn, sour stomach, acid indigestion and upset stomach associated with these condition.
Directions:
Adults: Shake well before using. Take 1 to 2 tablespoonfuls four times a day or as directed by a physician. Gaviscon Regular Strength Liquid should be taken after meals and at bedtime, followed by half a glass of water. Dispense product only by spoon or other measuring device.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredients: each tablespoonful (15ml): Aluminum Hydroxide (95 mg), Magnesium Carbonate (358 mg)
Inactive Ingredients: Benzyl Alcohol, D&C Yellow 10, Edetate Disodium, FD&C Blue 1, Flavor, Glycerin, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Alginate, Sorbitol Solution, Water, Xanthan Gum
Drug Interaction Precautions:
Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you are presently taking prescription drug, do not take this product without checking with your physician or other health professional.
Warnings:
Except under the advice and supervision of a physician, do not take more than 8 tablespoonfuls in a 24 -hour period or 8 tablespoonfuls daily for more than 2 weeks. May have laxative effect. Do not use this product if you have a kidney disease. Do not use this product if you are on a sodium-restricted diet except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Each tablespoonful of Gaviscon Regular Strength Liquid contains approximately 1.7 mEq sodium.
Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
